Atkins Management Consultants, a part of WS Atkins plc, is a multi-disciplinary consultancy dedicated to bringing the high-standards and excellence commonly associated with major Atkins infrastructure projects into large, modern, progressive organisations seeking to implement complex change programmes.
Typical assignments involve location, organisational, technological and service development change.
We deliver total Enterprise Programme Management services. Our objective is to enable our clients to achieve maximum benefits from their capital investment and organisational change programmes. To deliver successful outcomes, progressive organisations need to take into account three core areas of business related activity, namely; Change Management, encompassing the change needs of the organisation, business processes and individuals; Programme Management, covering the formal, controlled delivery of change related programmes and projects and; Information Management, encompassing the technological and intelligence needs of the organisation.
By concentrating on these as areas of critical importance in facilitating the implementation of business related change, we believe it is possible to develop an organisation’s ability to provide successful solutions, first time, every time.
Our Change Management team often engages at the business justification end of a programme – defining what change is necessary and how will it be paid for. What people will be involved and how will the impact on their efficiency and effectiveness be offset. Next comes the establishment of good programme management governance – how will the activities be overseen, what projects are necessary and how will success be measured.
Our Programme Management team will assist in both programme and project governance, establishing reporting mechanisms and ensuring resources are allocated, supported and their activities measured. Information Management specialisms can deliver to the needs of large scale IT project delivery, ensuring success by drawing on our engineering heritage in large scale project delivery. At any point we engage with other parts of Atkins to draw in technical specialists, perhaps delivering whole projects using the skills from across the whole Group. |
