This is of particular benefit to organisations seeking the development of grass-roots competence across PRINCE2 project teams. While Project Managers will always be central to successful projects, it is equally important that all other management team members, project assurance and project support are well-informed about the method and environment in which they work. Avion WBT aims to bring this within the most prudent of budgets.
To meet its goals, Avion WBT has developed a unique range of training delivery options, including:
- Dedicated on-line learning accounts. For a standard quarterly fee, customers may enrol their staff as and when they wish, as often as may be needed. Training is immediately available, with administrative control and progress reporting from a ring-fenced section of Avion WBT’s dedicated training server.
- Individual on-line learning accounts. Similar to a dedicated on-line learning account, but Avion WBT will take care of all administration of enrolled individuals.
- Off-line delivery in conjunction with an on-line account. Installed from CD, the personalised course may be synchronised with the on-line account, in either direction, providing the opportunity to utilise those lost commuting hours.
- Standalone off-line delivery. Installed or run from CD, this course can be run at home and in the office (or anywhere else), with synchronisation of lesson status and course progress through the Internet.
- As it is based on Internet technology, Avion WBT’s PRINCE2 course may be installed on any intranet supporting ASP and Internet Explorer.
- For individuals on a budget, the course may also be purchased with a pay-as-you-go option for CD delivery.
Avion WBT’s expertise is built on 25 years experience in CBT development in the Commercial and Military aviation sectors and association with the development of AICC and SCORM standards of LMS interoperability. The PRINCE2 courseware was accredited by APM Group in April 2005 at Foundation level. Follow-on Practitioner workshop training (once the substance of PRINCE2 knowledge has been acquired) is by arrangement with other accredited training organisations.
PRINCE2 project teams will inevitably require new members at short notice, and the courseware will be available for review at the Best Practice Showcase to demonstrate its versatility in providing new project team members with a sound and measurable working knowledge of PRINCE2 at short notice. |
